Role: Private Client Solicitor

Location: Surrey

Proper Recruitment are working with a well-established law firm who are looking for an experienced Private Client Solicitor to join their team in Surrey. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident solicitor to manage a varied private client caseload whilst developing long-term relationships with clients and contributing to the continued growth of the department.

Responsibilities:

• Manage a varied caseload including wills, probate, estate administration, inheritance tax, trusts, and powers of attorney
• Provide technical advice on complex private client matters
• Handle matters independently whilst maintaining exceptional standards of client care
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through professional and empathetic communication
• Supervise and support trainee solicitors, paralegals, and junior team members
• Ensure compliance with SRA principles, risk management procedures, and internal policies
• Contribute to business development, networking, and marketing initiatives
• Collaborate effectively within a supportive and team-focused environment

Experience & Qualifications:

• Ideally 2+ Years PQE within Private Client
• TEP qualification beneficial
• Strong experience managing Private Client matters independently
• Excellent client care and communication skills
• Strong organisation and attention to detail
• Commercially minded with a proactive approach to developing client relationships
