Mobile Commercial Gas Engineer

Job Title: Mobile Commercial Gas Engineer Location: Bedfordshire & Surrounding Areas Salary: £45,000 – £50,000 per annum (DOE) Benefits: Door-to-door travel pay, company vehicle (with personal use), £150 callout standby, overtime, pension, training & development opportunities The Role: We are looking for a qualified and experienced Mobile Commercial Gas Engineer to join our expanding team. Based in Bedfordshire and covering surrounding areas, you will be responsible for the maintenance, and repair of a range of commercial gas systems across multiple sites. Key Responsibilities: * Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on commercial gas appliances and systems * Fault-finding, diagnostics, and effective repair of commercial gas plant * Installation and commissioning of commercial gas boilers and associated equipment * Complete accurate job reports via a digital system * Ensure all work complies with current legislation and safety standards * Deliver excellent customer service and build strong client relationships * Participate in a 1-in-6 call-out rota, with £150 standby pay Requirements: * Valid commercial gas qualifications (e.g. COCN1, CODNCO1, CIGA1, ICPN1, TPCP1/1A) – Essential * Proven experience in the commercial gas industry (maintenance, servicing & breakdowns) * Strong technical and fault-finding skills * Full UK driving licence * Good understanding of relevant health & safety regulations * Self-motivated and able to manage your own workload * Willingness to participate in call-out rota (1 in 6 weeks) Package & Benefits: * Salary: £50,000 – £60,000 depending on experience and certifications * 1-in-6 call-out rota with £150 standby payment * Door-to-door travel pay * Company vehicle with personal use * Fuel card, tools, uniform, and PPE provided * Overtime and additional earning potential * Company pension scheme * Ongoing training and professional development
