Job ID: 21845Salary: c50,000 plus packageLocation: London / EssexRegion: Essex, HertfordshirePinnacle are delighted to be supporting one of the UK’s leading residential developers and building contractors in appointing a BIM & Digital Information Coordinator to join them.This is a great opportunity for an experienced BIM Coordinator or BIM Technician to take a key role in delivering digital information across a number of live construction projects. You’ll work closely with the BIM Information Manager, Technical Managers, design teams, consultants and subcontractors to make sure project models and information are coordinated, compliant and delivered to ISO 19650.The roleCoordinating and federating architectural, structural and MEP models across live projectsRunning clash detection in Navisworks, then categorising, prioritising and tracking issues through to resolutionRaising and managing coordination issues through BIMcollab and producing reports for design and BIM meetingsReviewing Revit models for compliance, including coordinates, levels, grids, naming and model healthSupporting ISO 19650 processes, including EIRs, AIRs, BEPs, TIDPs and MIDPs, along with naming conventions and status codesSupporting the Common Data Environment (Viewpoint for Projects) and monitoring information deliveryAssisting with IFC and COBie exports and handover informationHelping to develop company BIM standards, templates and workflows, including Power BI reportingWhat we’re looking for2+ years’ experience as a BIM Coordinator, BIM Technician or Digital Construction CoordinatorWorking knowledge of Autodesk Revit and Navisworks ManageHands-on clash detection and coordination experienceA good understanding of architectural, structural and MEP interfacesFamiliarity with ISO 19650A relevant industry qualificationGood communication skills and the ability to work well in a team and under pressureExperience with a main contractor or residential developer would be a real advantage, as would knowledge of BIMcollab, Viewpoint/4Projects, IFC/openBIM workflows, COBie or Power BI.This is a chance to join a forward-thinking business that is investing in its digital construction capability, with real scope to shape how BIM is delivered across its projects.If this sounds of interest, I’d be very happy to have a confidential chat and share more details.
