About the Role:


They are currently seeking a highly driven Founding Business Development Representative to join their team in London. This is a high-ownership role working directly alongside the founder, with responsibility for managing inbound demand, qualifying high-value leads, and executing targeted outbound campaigns. You will be the first point of contact for prospective clients, helping identify strong-fit opportunities, nurture relationships, and prepare prospects for strategy calls with the Creative Director. This role would suit someone commercially ambitious, highly organised, and confident engaging with founders of fast-growing companies.


Responsibilities:


  • Take ownership of the CRM and inbound lead funnel, ensuring every enquiry is tracked, nurtured, and followed up strategically.
  • Manage the inbound pipeline and ensure high-potential prospects are qualified effectively.
  • Initiate meaningful, peer-to-peer conversations with founders within the company’s existing digital ecosystem.
  • Identify recently funded startups and high-growth companies that align with the company’s creative vision.
  • Execute targeted outbound campaigns to generate conversations with relevant founders and senior stakeholders.
  • Act as the first point of contact for prospective clients, assessing their ambition, budget, timing, and fit for the studio’s services.
  • Prepare qualified prospects for strategy calls with the Creative Director.
  • Develop a strong understanding of the company’s tiered studio offerings and recommend the right entry point for each prospective client.
  • Support the growth of the studio by helping build a structured and scalable business development process.


Requirements:


  • Experience / strong interest in business development, sales, partnerships, or a commercially focused role, ideally within a startup, agency, creative studio, or high-ticket sales environment.
  • Some understanding of the startup landscape, venture funding, and how modern founders communicate.
  • Commercially ambitious and excited to grow alongside a high-ticket creative studio.
  • Highly organised and process-driven, with the ability to manage a pipeline and ensure no lead slips through the cracks.
  • Confident in communicating with founders, senior stakeholders, and prospective clients.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft personalised outreach.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-standard environment.
  • Interest in branding, storytelling, design, startups, and founder-led businesses.
  • Currently based in London, with the legal right to work in the UK.
  • Excited by the opportunity to work directly with the founder and be part of the studio environment from the ground up.


Compensation and benefits:


  • £28,000-£30,000 base salary, depending on experience.
  • Uncapped commission structure.
  • Year 1 OTE of c. £45,000-£55,000+.
  • In-studio / hybrid working from Soho Works White City, London - 4 days in-person, Friday from home.
