Where will you be working?
At M Group Energy, we’re enabling the energy essential to support our lives.
We provide an end-to-end service, delivering solutions in electricity transmission, distribution, renewable energy, EV, metering and home decarbonisation.
This role will be within our
Electricity Transmission division.
We design, build and commission substations at voltages up to and including 400kV. Our teams construct and maintain transmission lines and substations, ensuring the efficient and reliable delivery of electricity.
This is a fixed term contract, maternity cover. What you’ll be doing
Responding to training requests by scheduling courses in line with company procedures and ensuring the availability of instructors, classrooms, and required resources.
Developing and managing training schedules for new and existing employees to ensure competencies and authorisations remain current.
Ensure the administration of assessments and training courses complies with the Training Quality Management System and manage the training calendar to ensure it remains accurate and up to date.
Developing and maintaining training reports to ensure all training remains current and proactively notify departmental managers of expired or upcoming training requirements.
Monitoring and booking client authorisations to ensure site staff remain fully authorised.
Managing external accreditations ensuring compliance with relevant standards.
Supporting the SHEQ team on site audits and investigations where required and skill set matches
Reviewing and maintaining training procedures and resources to ensure they remain aligned with changes to processes or equipment.
Attending weekly safety meetings to ensure the Training Centre remains current to trends.
Promote company values and standards and exhibit appropriate behaviours in accordance with Company ethos.
Maintain excellent levels of communication throughout the department and the wider business
Proactively promote the internal and external capabilities of the Training Centre by supporting business development initiatives, engaging in industry networking, delivering high

quality training, and maintaining effective customer relationship management.
What you’ll bring
Full UK Driving License
Ability to build effective relationships
Effective written & verbal communication
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint, with the ability to produce accurate documentation, reports, and correspondence.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
Ability to communicate well to large groups of delegates
Health and Safety Qualification
Internal Quality Assurance Qualification
Customer relationship management skills
