Interim Accounts Payable Assistant

This role is all about keeping things running smoothly in the accounts payable department for a life science organisation in north Cambridge. You'll handle invoices, payments, and queries to ensure the finance team stays on top of their game. Client Details A life science organisation based in Cambridge looking for Interim Accounts Payable Assistant support. Description Interim Accounts Payable Assistant: Process supplier invoices accurately and in a timely manner. Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any discrepancies. Manage payment runs, ensuring compliance with company policies. Respond to supplier queries and maintain strong relationships. Assist with month-end tasks related to accounts payable. Ensure proper documentation and filing of financial records. Collaborate with other departments to resolve invoice or payment issues. Support the finance team with ad hoc administrative tasks as needed.Profile A successful Interim Accounts Payable Assistant should have: Previous experience in an accounts payable or similar finance role. Strong attention to detail and organisational skills. Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel. Excellent communication skills for liaising with suppliers and colleagues.
