£18.00 per hour | 5:00am Starts | 4–6 Drops Per Day | Temp to Perm Are you an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver looking for a long-term opportunity with an established and well-respected company? We’re currently recruiting HGV Class 2 Drivers to join an established timber company based in Faringdon, with a genuine opportunity to move from temporary to permanent. A bit about the role * £18.00 per hour * 5:00am start times * Monday to Friday * 4–6 drops per day * Temp to Perm opportunity * Based in Faringdon * Working for an established and reputable timber company * Full training and support provided * Regular, consistent work What you'll be doing As an HGV Class 2 Driver, you'll be responsible for delivering timber products to customers safely and professionally. Your day will typically involve: * Completing 4–6 deliveries per day * Driving a Class 2 vehicle safely and responsibly * Loading and unloading timber products * Delivering to customers across the local area * Carrying out vehicle checks and completing relevant paperwork * Providing a professional and friendly service to customers * Following all company health & safety procedures HGV Class 2 Driver – The must-haves * Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence * Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card * Good understanding of drivers' hours and road safety regulations * Reliable and punctual * 2 years experience * Professional attitude and good customer service skills * Comfortable with some manual handling * Previous delivery experience would be advantageous You'll have consistent weekday work, early starts that give you a good structure to your day, and the opportunity to become a valued member of an established team.
