Project Coordinator - Construction

Description Recruit Build is working with a well-established, family-run construction company with an excellent reputation for delivering high-quality projects across Yorkshire and the surrounding areas. The business works across a diverse range of sectors, including industrial and distribution, residential and hospitality, delivering both new-build and fit-out projects valued at up to £10 million. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint an organised, proactive and ambitious Project Coordinator to work closely with the Project Director, supporting the successful delivery of multiple construction projects. This is an excellent opportunity to join a close-knit team, take on real responsibility from day one and progress into Project Management. The Role Working alongside the Project Director, your responsibilities will include: * Coordinating live construction projects from pre-construction through to completion * Managing project documentation, programmes and the flow of project information * Liaising with Site Managers, suppliers, consultants and subcontractors * Monitoring procurement schedules and material deliveries * Coordinating health and safety documentation, RAMS and quality records * Helping to ensure projects remain organised, on programme and delivered to a high standard About You Candidates should have: * A degree or higher-level BTEC qualification in a construction-related discipline * At least four years’ practical experience within the construction industry * Strong organisational and communication skills * Excellent attention to detail * The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment * A proactive approach and the ability to work on their own initiative * Good Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook * A full UK driving licence What’s on Offer * Salary of £35,000–£40,000, depending on experience * The opportunity to work directly alongside the Project Director * Genuine career progression into Project Management * Company pension * On-site parking * Annual leave plus bank holidays * A friendly, supportive and family-focused working environment This is an excellent opportunity to build a long-term career with a respected Yorkshire contractor that values its people and invests in their development.
