Are you a graduate with a passion for supporting children and looking to gain valuable experience in education?
Academics is working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Slough, seeking a dedicated Graduate Inclusion Support Assistant to join their team from September 2026.
As a Graduate Inclusion Support Assistant, you will play an important role in helping pupils overcome barriers to learning and fully engage with school life. Working closely with the class teacher, SENCO and wider support team, you will provide tailored support to help pupils develop academically, socially and emotionally.
Your Role Will Include:
Providing targeted 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with SEN, SEMH needs and behavioural challenges
Supporting pupils to engage positively with lessons and overcome barriers to learning
Helping children develop confidence, emotional regulation and independence
Supporting positive behaviour and encouraging strong learning habits
Working collaboratively with teachers, the SENCO and other professionals to implement individual support strategies
Monitoring pupil progress and providing feedback to the wider team
Helping create a safe, positive and inclusive environment where every child can thriveWe're Looking For Someone Who:

Can remain calm and consistent when supporting pupils with additional needs
