H&S Consultant - Contractor (Logistics)

H&S Contractor requirement Midlands based Logistics experience essential This role will be operating at Head of Health & Safety level, overseeing a small team with a national remit. The role will reinforce standards, find gaps for improvement and design the strategy to improve standards across the board. This role will involve travel and nights away when visiting sites further afield. Although, key hubs are in and around the Midlands region. This is a key role and the person who takes up this post will advise the business on areas for improvement as well as hiring strategy to bring in a senior permanent hire (which will also be open to the contractor to go permanent), and the skills and experience required to build a leading safety function. It is essential that the person who takes on this role will have strong experience working within the logistics industry at a senior level.
