SEND Teaching Assistants Needed - Hackney | £100-£130

Principal Education is seeking passionate, patient and resilient SEND Teaching Assistants to support pupils across secondary schools in Hackney. You’ll provide 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with a range of SEND needs, helping them access learning, manage challenges and build confidence and independence. The role: Provide 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with SEND Support pupils with Autism, ADHD, SEMH, MLD and communication needs Assist with learning, emotional regulation and behaviour Work alongside teachers to create an inclusive classroom Encourage pupils to develop confidence and independence What you MUST demonstrate: Right to work in the UK Experience working with children or young people, particularly SEND Patience, empathy and resilience Strong communication and behaviour management skills Flexibility and adaptability Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply Overseas police clearance if you’ve lived abroad for 6+ months in the last 5 years Based in Hackney or within a commutable distance Pay and benefits: £100–£130 per day, depending on experience Flexible daily work around your availability Opportunities for ongoing and longer-term roles Valuable experience supporting pupils with SEND Apply now: To discuss the opportunity, contact Louis Checkley at or call (phone number removed).
