Maintenance Electrician  📍 Dudley 💰 Circa £36,000 basic + overtime (OTE significantly higher) 🕒 Full-Time | Permanent | Weekly Paid 🔄 3-Shift Rotating Pattern The Role A well-established heavy industrial manufacturer is looking for an experienced Maintenance Electrician to join its engineering team. Working alongside a Mechanical Fitter, you’ll carry out planned maintenance, breakdown repairs, and installation work on factory/process machinery. Key Duties Planned preventative maintenance (PPM) Reactive breakdown repairs Installation and maintenance of factory/process machinery Fault finding on 415V, 240V, 110V & 24VAC/DC systems Reading/interpreting electrical drawings PLC fault finding (I/O checks only) Overhead crane fault diagnosis Maintenance of lighting, alarms & emergency systems Basic control panel building & CCTV design Completing shift reports and working safely Requirements Time Served / Apprenticeship preferred NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds in Electrical Maintenance 18th Edition desirable Heavy industrial experience essential Slitting/decoiling machinery experience advantageous Full UK Driving Licence preferred Fuse checks Continuity testing Insulation resistance testing Motor winding continuity testing Equipment identification Live testing Reading electrical drawings Shift Pattern (40 hrs/week)  Mon–Fri | 6am–2pm / Mon–Thurs | 8pm–6am / Mon–Thurs | 2pm–12am ✅ Excellent overtime opportunities ✅ Weekly paid ✅ Permanent position ✅ 3-month probation period Apply now to take the next step in your engineering career
