About the role
Shillito Group are recruiting for a Furnace Charge Operator to join a well established, specialist manufacturing business in Sheffield.
The Role
Prepare and weigh materials for furnace processing
Maintain accurate records in line with quality and production standards
Support furnace operations by ensuring correct charge preparation
Assist with internal material recovery and processing activities
Maintain high standards of housekeeping and organisation
What We're Looking For
Experience in a manufacturing, metals, or industrial environment
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Comfortable working with materials, weights, and processes
Able to work independently and take ownership of tasks
A proactive approach and willingness to learn
FLT and/or overhead crane experience (desirable)
