Working pattern: Hybrid (on-site + home-based)
Experience: Minimum 1 year UK practice as an NMC-registered Learning Disabilities Nurse
About the Role We are seeking experienced NMC-registered Learning Disabilities Nurses (RNLDs) across the UK to join our nationwide team of Functional Assessors . This is an excellent opportunity for RNLDs looking for structured daytime hours, improved work-life balance, and a new clinical challenge, while continuing to use their specialist expertise in a supportive and rewarding setting.
No previous Functional Assessor experience is required full training is provided.
Whats on Offer Competitive salary: £37,500 £49,934, depending on region
Hybrid working , combining assessment centre duties with home-based reporting
Structured salary uplifts: £1,000 increase at 6 months
£1,000 increase at 12 months
Performance-related bonus schemes aligned with client policies
Comprehensive induction training and ongoing CPD
Full-time, permanent hours , with no nights, weekends, or shift patterns
Roles available nationwide , offering flexibility in where you work
Key Responsibilities Carry out functional assessments using a structured, evidence-based clinical approach
Review claimant information and medical evidence
Produce high-quality, accurate clinical reports
Maintain NMC professional standards and follow clinical best practice
Work effectively within a multidisciplinary clinical team
What Youll xwzovoh Need To be considered for this role, you must:
Be an NMC-registered Learning Disabilities Nurse (RNLD)
Have a minimum of 1 years post-registration clinical experience in the UK
Demonstrate strong clinical reasoning and assessment skills
Be confident using digital systems in a hybrid work environment
Bring a compassionate, professional, patient-centred approach
