Contract Type  Permanent Full time / part time  Full time Savills Status  Staff Business Area  Savills Management Resources(SMR) Location  Nottingham Role / Team Overview This role is being advertised by  Savills Management Resources(SMR) a wholly owned entity of Savills (UK) Limited but a separate employing entity which is not accredited by Real Living Wage.Purpose of the RoleWorking as part of a centre based maintenance team and reporting into the Technical Services Manager, ensure that at all times the shopping centre is presented to the highest possible standards, customer facilities are fully operational and statutory compliance is always maintained.Key Responsibilities·         Completion of statutory and non-statutory PPMs to strict timelines. ·         Ensure engineering standards are maintained in order to maximize the operation effectiveness and reliability of the plant and associated systems. ·         To ensure company QA and site procedures are adhered to in all aspects. ·         Ensure Company & Site, Health & Safety procedures are always followed.  ·         Maintain accurate site records/documentation in association with all site works. ·         To respond promptly to reactive repairs. ·         Carry out tasks within typical plant room environments and at high level, working from platforms and ladders. ·         Maintain all company issued tools in a safe and serviceable manner.  ·         Complete any other associated tasks requested by the management to achieve centre objectives. ·         Weekend working on a rotational basis. Skills, Knowledge and Experience Essential:·                     Previous experience of working within a team in a maintenance environment.   ·                     General maintenance skills (building / decorating / plumbing / joinery / basic electrical skills). ·                     Self-motivated and able to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively. ·                     GCSE grade C or above (or equivalent) in English and Maths. ·                     Computer literate with good knowledge of Microsoft products. Desirable:·                     Electrical qualification inc 18th Edition ·                     IPAF certificate ·                     Health & Safety qualification ·                     BMS controls ·                     HVAC knowledge ·                     Air conditioning ·                     Water treatment regimes ·                     Health and Safety training ·                     Sprinkler systems ·                     Autocad ·                     Fire Alarm ·                     CCTV systems Working Hours40 hours per week, 5 days out of 7, flexible to support evenings and weekends as required.Job Description/Person Spec Building Services Operative - JD for Candidates.docx – 46KB Converted File Building Services Operative - JD for Candidates.docx.pdf – 95KB Savills BenefitsTo find out more about Savills benefits please click hereUse of Personal DataSavills will use your personal data to evaluate and respond to your application.
