London – Permanent – Hybrid – £60,000 to £65,000 DOE

A housing organisation in London is looking to appoint a Management Accountant to join its finance team. This is a hands-on opportunity for a commercially minded accountant to take ownership of management reporting and month-end, while also developing their business partnering and analytical skills.

Working closely with both finance and non-financial stakeholders, you will play an important role in producing accurate and insightful management information, while helping to improve and systemise existing processes.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the month-end process, including journals, reconciliations and management accounts.
• Produce timely and accurate monthly management reporting, budgeting, forecasting and performance analysis.
• Work closely with the Head of FP&A and Financial Controller to ensure robust financial controls and reporting.
• Provide financial analysis and insight to support operational decision-making.
• Build relationships with operational teams and develop finance business partnering across the organisation.
• Develop and improve Excel-based reporting, models and processes.
• Identify opportunities to improve and systemise existing processes and reporting.
