ESTIMATOR – HVAC / BUILDING SERVICES 🔥 📍 Glasgow 💰 Up to £65,000 + Car Allowance FM Search & Select are currently recruiting for an experienced Estimator from a HVAC / Mechanical Building Services background to join a growing and well-established business based in Glasgow. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced estimator looking to join a busy and expanding projects division delivering HVAC and mechanical building services projects across commercial and industrial environments. The Role The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates and quotations for a range of HVAC and mechanical building services projects. You will work closely with clients, suppliers, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure competitive and commercially viable tenders are submitted. Duties will include: * Preparing detailed HVAC and mechanical estimates * Reviewing drawings, specifications, and tender documentation * Producing quotations, cost plans, and take-offs * Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors for pricing * Supporting project handovers to operational teams * Attending client meetings and commercial discussions where required * Assisting with value engineering and cost-saving opportunities * Managing multiple tenders and deadlines simultaneously Requirements * Previous experience working as an Estimator within HVAC, Mechanical, or Building Services environments * Strong understanding of HVAC systems and mechanical installations * Experience pricing commercial and industrial projects * Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications * Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail * Excellent communication and organisational skills * Full UK Driving Licence Package * Salary up to £65,000 DOE * Car allowance * Monday – Friday role * Career progression opportunities * Joining a well-established and growing business * Glasgow-based position For more information, please submit your CV or contact Rebecca at FM Search & Select Ltd
