CNC Press Brake Operator

An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Press Brake Setter / Operator to join a busy and well-established manufacturing team in North Essex. This role is ideal for someone with strong sheet metal fabrication experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced production environment where precision and quality are essential. You'll play a key part in the manufacturing process, setting and operating CNC press brake machinery to produce high-quality components to exact specifications. Key responsibilities include: Setting and operating CNC press brake machines Working accurately from technical drawings and fabrication sketches Interpreting engineering drawings and working to tight tolerances Calculating blank sizes and understanding bending allowances Adjusting machinery to maintain production accuracy and consistency Maintaining a safe and organised working environment Working closely with the wider production team to meet deadlines and quality standards To be successful in this role, you should have: A minimum of 3 years' experience as a Press Brake Setter / Operator Strong knowledge of sheet metal fabrication processes The ability to confidently read and interpret technical drawings Experience calculating flat/blank sizes Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship The ability to work independently and within a team environment The successful applicant can expect: A full-time, permanent position - 40 hours pw, 7:30-4pm Monday to Friday working hours Overtime opportunities Supportive team environment Opportunity to work on varied and interesting projects If you're an experienced Press Brake Setter / Operator looking for your next long-term opportunity, apply today
