As part of this investment, they're looking to hire a Business Data Analyst to join a growing data function focused on improving data quality, governance, reporting and automation across the business.This is an excellent opportunity to work at the heart of a business undergoing significant transformation, helping to shape how data is managed, analysed and leveraged across Operations, Product, Risk, Performance, Fund Accounting and Front Office teams.The RoleWorking within a collaborative Business Data Management team, you'll play a key role in delivering the organisation's data strategy by identifying opportunities to automate manual processes, improving data governance and developing insightful reporting solutions.You'll work closely with stakeholders across the business to understand data challenges, implement new technologies and support the development of self-service reporting capabilities.Key ResponsibilitiesDrive the automation and optimisation of existing manual processes using strategic data toolsAnalyse and visualise business data to provide meaningful insights across multiple business functionsSupport the development of data governance standards and foundational data domainsBuild and enhance self-service reporting and dashboards using Power BIWork with third-party vendors to integrate data platforms and improve data accessibilityProduce reports for governance forums, steering committees and senior stakeholdersCreate and maintain process documentation and support continuous improvement initiativesCollaborate with business and technology teams to deliver data-focused change projectsAbout YouWe're looking for someone with a passion for data, technology and continuous improvement who enjoys solving complex business problems.You'll ideally have:Experience within Asset Management or the wider Investment Management industryStrong data analysis and problem-solving skillsExperience with SQL and PythonExperience using Power BI for reporting and dashboard creationKnowledge of Snowflake and AlteryxStrong Excel and Microsoft Office skillsExcellent stakeholder engagement and communication skillsExperience working within business change or transformation programmes (desirable)Exposure to Power Automate, APIs or SFTP integrations (advantageous)IMC qualification or similar (desirable)Why Apply?Join a newly created role within a growing data teamWork on high-profile automation and data transformation initiativesInfluence the future direction of the organisation's data capabilitiesGain exposure across multiple areas of a leading investment management businessHybrid working and an excellent opportunity for long-term career development...
