About the Role

• Teach a bright, enthusiastic Year 1 class within a supportive KS1 team

• Plan and deliver engaging, well structured lessons that build strong foundations in reading, writing and maths

• Create a warm, inclusive classroom where children feel confident, safe and motivated

• Use creative approaches to bring learning to life and develop curiosity

• Work closely with colleagues, support staff and leaders to ensure consistency and progress

• Build positive relationships with families and contribute to the wider school community

• Engage in ongoing professional development and reflective practice

• A qualified teacher (QTS) — ECTs warmly encouraged to apply

• Strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum and early primary pedagogy
