About the role

This role is a part time position. With head office based within easy commute from the M65 and local train stations, they are recruiting for an experienced Finance Manager to lead the finance function. With a focus on aligning process, systems and producing month-end management accounts, you shall manage a small team whilst working closely with the CFO to enable finance as a value add to stakeholders across the organisation. Your new role as Finance Manager: As Finance Manager you shall oversee the production of accurate and timely management information to stakeholders, so they are well-informed with timely financial information in relation to operations. This will be done by creating, developing, and improving existing management information to support improving the understanding of non-financial managers and the key performance indicators effecting their business. The Trust is in a period of growth, this role will enable finance and will take the lead on stakeholder engagement. As Finance Manager you will work closely with the Operations team and improve their understanding of the financial impact of decisions. The role will lead and oversee the delivery of effective Business Partnering and support the budget process, to ensure effective monitoring and reporting in this area so the business performs as per agreed expectations. To be considered you shall be formally qualified (ACA ACCA CIMA) and have experience operating at a senior level. With the skills and knowledge to enable the function you shall maintain a solid understanding of statutory accounting requirements in either practice or industry and have the skills to work closely with stakeholders as a true business partner. You shall be a strong communicator and able to partner with non-financial stakeholders across an organisation.
