A leading specialist insurance disputes boutique is seeking an experienced 8+ PQE Professional Indemnity Lawyer to join its expanding London practice.
This is a rare opportunity for an established Senior Associate who is looking for a clearer and more transparent route towards Partnership within a growing and highly respected specialist platform.
The practice advises insurer clients and insured professionals across a broad spectrum of professional negligence and financial lines matters, including:
- Solicitors' negligence
- Financial adviser claims
- Insurance broker claims
- Coverage disputes
- Regulatory investigations
- Directors' & Officers' matters
- Emerging construction professional indemnity work
The role offers extensive client contact and the opportunity to become a key member of a growing practice with an excellent quality of instructions.
The Opportunity:
The successful candidate will be:
- Managing complex and high-value professional indemnity claims
- Developing relationships with insurer and professional clients
- Supervising junior Lawyers
- Playing an active role in business development
- Assisting with strategic growth initiatives
- Building towards a realistic medium-term Partnership pathway
Candidate Requirements:
You are likely to have:
- 8+ years' PQE
- Strong defendant professional indemnity experience
- Experience acting for insurers and/or insured professionals
- Excellent technical litigation skills
- Commercial awareness and client relationship capability
- A desire to play a meaningful role within a growing practice
Particular interest will be shown in candidates with experience defending claims against:
- Solicitors
- Financial advisers
- Construction professionals
- Surveyors
- Engineers
