What Youll Get
£16 per hour
Full training provided (no prior care experience required)
Flexible shifts (34 per week)
5.6 weeks holiday (pro rata)
NEST pension scheme
Ongoing support from a care coordinator
Shift Pattern
Day shifts: 08:00 22:00
Night shifts: 22:00 10:00
Mixed rota (days & nights) provided in advance
About the Role
This is more than a typical care assistant job or support worker role .

Youll provide 1:1 personal care and support to a young man with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy , helping with daily living and social activities.

Alongside providing personal care , youll also:

Support independent living
Assist with social activities (rugby, music, outings, pub trips)
Encourage confidence and new experiences
Work as part of a small, consistent care team

Ive got a good sense of humour, even if my jokes are awful. I can be anxious sometimes, but Im kind and thoughtful.
I love rugby, gaming, music, and getting out when I can. The right support will help me build confidence and try new things.
Key Responsibilities
Personal care and daily living support
Mobility assistance (full manual handling & hoist training provided )
Support with healthcare routines (physio, assisted feeding, positioning)
Driving to appointments and social activities
Light housekeeping / domestic support
Requirements
Full UK driving licence (essential)
Confident driver (adapted vehicle provided)
Reliable, patient, and caring
Good communication skills
Interest in care or healthcare careers
Non-smoker due to care environment
