Leading South East Law FirmJameson Legal is working with a highly regarded South east law firm that is looking to recruit a Commercial Real Estate Solicitor at NQ to 2 PQE to join its well-established property team in Guildford.This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative and well-resourced team that is widely recognised for the quality of its real estate work. The group forms part of a sizeable real estate practice and works closely with specialist colleagues in construction, environmental and property disputes.The team advises on a broad range of commercial property matters for an impressive and diverse client base, including property companies, investment funds, owner-managed businesses, listed property vehicles and major international organisations.The RoleThe successful candidate will gain exposure to a wide variety of commercial real estate work, including:Development projectsInvestment acquisitions and disposalsReal estate finance mattersLandlord and tenant work for corporate occupiers across retail, office and industrial sectorsThe practice is active across a number of sectors including logistics and industrial, retail and leisure, healthcare and residential development.Candidate ProfileApplications are welcomed from newly qualified solicitors through to those with up to two years’ post qualification experience who have gained strong commercial property exposure during training or early practice.Candidates will ideally demonstrate:Strong academics and good quality real estate experienceExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsA proactive and collaborative approach to working within a teamThe ability to manage matters with increasing independenceThe firm places a strong emphasis on early responsibility while providing excellent supervision, training and mentoring to support long term development.The OpportunityThis is a firm known for its collegiate culture and long-term investment in its lawyers.
