M-Sport UK is a world-leading motorsport engineering company responsible for designing, building, and running championship-winning rally cars competing at the highest levels of international motorsport, including the FIA World Rally Championship and World Rally Raid Championship.

We’re now seeking a skilled and motivated Damper Technician to join our Hydraulics team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on high-performance suspension systems that play a critical role in the performance, reliability, and success of our competition cars.

The role and responsibilities include:

  Build, service and maintain dampers and associated suspension components.

  
  
  
• 
  

  Strip, inspect and rebuild dampers to exacting standards.

  
  
  
• 
  

  Conduct component measurement, inspection and quality control checks.

  
  
  
• 
  

  Prepare dampers for testing, development and competition use.

  
  
  
• 
  

  Support suspension development programmes and continuous improvement activities.

  
  
  
• 
  

  Maintain accurate service records and build documentation.

  
  
  
• 
  

  Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently and to the highest standards.

  
  
  
• 
  

  Collaborate closely with engineers, production and workshop teams.

  Strong understanding of mechanical assembly, suspension systems or precision engineering.

  Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.

  Skilled in multitasking and prioritising workloads in a time sensitive environment.

  Excellent communication skills, and a keen eye for problem solving.

  Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary team.

  
  
  

Preferred Experience: ​

• 
  

  Previous experience working with hydraulic systems and suspension components is desirable.

  
  
  
• 
  

  Previous experience in motorsport or high-performance automotive.
