Injection Moulded Plastics | Complex Product Development | Consultancy Environment


I'm partnering with a highly respected product development consultancy experiencing significant growth within their medical and scientific sector—and they’re now looking to bring in a Medical Sector Manager to lead from the front.


This is a rare opportunity to work on high-visibility, life-improving medical devices, taking projects from early concept right through to market launch. If you enjoy combining technical leadership, client engagement, and project delivery, this role offers real ownership and impact.

What they’re really looking for

  • 1st or Upper 2nd degree in mechanical, mechatronics or design engineering
  • 10+ years industry experience
  • Strong medical device development experience (essential)
  • Proven background working within ISO 13485 environments
  • Hands-on experience with high-volume manufacturing, especially injection moulded plastics (non-orthopaedic devices)
  • Experience managing end-to-end development projects—scope, budget, timescales, and delivery
  • Ability to operate in a consultancy or client-facing environment, balancing commercial and technical priorities

  • Leading medical product development projects as both technical and commercial lead
  • Developing proposals, pitching to clients, and building long-term strategic partnerships
  • Managing and mentoring multi-disciplinary xwzovoh engineering teams
  • Driving innovative solutions to complex engineering challenges
