Painter & Decorator – Social Housing Refurbishments JDL Contractors Ltd is a growing contractor specialising in social housing refurbishment projects, with a strong focus on kitchen and bathroom refurbishments. Due to continued workload, we are looking to recruit an experienced Painter & Decorator to join our team. Role & Responsibilities Painting and decorating works within occupied and void social housing properties Preparing surfaces including sanding, filling, caulking, and making good Applying emulsion, gloss, satin, and other decorative finishes to walls, ceilings and woodwork Carrying out redecoration works following kitchen and bathroom installations Ensuring a high-quality finish in line with client specifications Maintaining a clean and tidy working environment Working to high standards of safety, quality, and customer care Requirements NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Painting & Decorating (or equivalent experience) Valid CSCS card Previous experience in social housing or domestic refurbishment Ability to complete works independently and to a high standard Full UK driving licence Good communication skills and a professional attitude when dealing with xkybehq tenants What We Offer Competitive salary depending on experience Consistent, long-term work Supportive and professional team environment Opportunity to grow with a well-established contractor If you're a reliable Painter & Decorator looking for stable work within social housing refurbishment, we'd like to hear from you.
