Quality Inspector

I am working with a great mechanical engineering client based in Basingstoke to recruit a quality inspector to join their team on a day shift. You will be familiar with GD&T and competent with a variety of metrology equipment ranging from micrometers to CMMs. The successful quality inspector will be able to read engineering drawings and measure to tight tolerances, ideally having worked in a highly regulated environment such as aerospace. You will be measuring parts created internally, by 3rd parties and on NPD. The inspector will fill in inspection reports so attention to detail is an absolute must. The Role * Measuring with a variety of metrology equipment * Experience with a CMM * Familiar with GD&T * Experience working in a machine shop environment * Worked in a highly regulated environment * Able to read engineering drawings This role is a Monday to Friday position with a slightly earlier finish on Fridays.
