Infrastructure Architect

Infrastructure Architect We are currently partnered with a Financial Services client who are looking for an experienced Infrastructure Architect to drive the design and evolution of thier data centre and cloud platforms. This is a key role focused on delivering scalable, secure, and resilient infrastructure solutions while contributing to ongoing capability improvements. The Role You will work closely with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions, providing architectural leadership across projects and shaping the future infrastructure strategy. Key Responsibilities Lead the design of infrastructure solutions, including high-level designs and architectural blueprints Provide technical leadership across projects and act as the lead architect Develop and maintain infrastructure strategy, standards, and best practices Collaborate with engineering, security, and enterprise architecture teams Contribute to product roadmaps, reference architectures, and continuous improvement initiatives Ensure solutions align with architectural principles and security standards What We're Looking For Proven experience in infrastructure architecture within enterprise environments Strong expertise in cloud platforms (AWS preferred), data centres, and hosting technologies Broad knowledge of networking, security, and risk management Ability to clearly communicate complex solutions to technical and non-technical stakeholders Experience working across architecture, engineering, and operations teams Desirable Skills Infrastructure as Code (IaC) Virtualisation technologies and operating systems (Windows & Linux) Hybrid cloud architecture design Cloud security and third-party tooling evaluation Storage, firewall technologies, and database platforms Qualifications Degree in a relevant technology discipline (or equivalent experience) Industry certifications such as TOGAF, AWS Solutions Architect, CISSP, CISM (or similar) are highly desirable Strong understanding of security frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST) is a plus If you a re looking for an opportunity to utilise your experience in order to truly impact a business, then look no further.
