About the role

Empowering learning are currently recruiting on behalf of a specialist SEND school in Oxfordshire for an experienced Primary School Teacher to join their dedicated and supportive team on a part-time basis, working 2 days per week. This is a rewarding opportunity to work within a nurturing and inclusive environment supporting pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). The school offers small class sizes and a highly supportive staffing team, allowing teachers to provide tailored learning and individual support to every pupil. About the Role As a Primary SEND Teacher, you will play a key role in delivering engaging and differentiated lessons that support both the academic and personal development of pupils. You will: Plan and deliver creative, engaging lessons tailored to individual learning needs Create a calm, safe, and inclusive classroom environment Support pupils with a range of SEND needs including ASD, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and social/emotional needs Work closely with Teaching Assistants, SENCOs, and wider pastoral teams Adapt teaching strategies to support different learning styles and abilities Encourage pupil confidence, independence, and positive engagement with learning Monitor and track pupil progress effectivelyWho We're Looking For We would love to hear from you if you: Hold QTS and have previous experience teaching within a primary setting Have experience working with pupils with SEND needs Are patient, nurturing, and adaptable in your teaching approach Can create positive relationships with pupils, staff, and families Have strong classroom and behaviour management skills Are passionate about inclusive education and supporting every child to achieve their potential Are reliable, flexible, and able to work collaboratively as part of a teamKey Attributes for Success The ideal candidate will demonstrate: Patience and understanding Calmness and consistency Strong communication skills Flexibility and adaptability A nurturing and positive approach to teachingWhy Apply?
