They work testing exotic materials for the Defence and Aerospace industries, conducting destructive and non-destructive testing in a laboratory setting.

Your role will involve the creation and testing of specimens, report writing and data analysis.

This role is not your typical material testing position
- you'll be working across a wide variety of interesting and unique materials and use a multitude of different techniques.

This is a step up from a typical technician role, where you will oversee programmes of work and be respected as a technical expert.

This role would suit a Materials Engineer or Technician looking for responsibility over large programmes of work, granting autonomy and respect for your technical expertise.
