Are you a Field Service Engineer with mechanical and electrical experience looking to join an industry-leading manufacturer offering a local Essex patch, specialist training, door-to-door pay, and excellent overtime opportunities?
This established UK manufacturer and materials handling specialist supplies innovative articulated forklift trucks, narrow aisle warehouse equipment, and storage solutions into the warehousing, logistics, manufacturing, retail, and distribution sectors, backed by over 60 years of engineering expertise, industry-leading innovation, and customer-focused service.
In this role, you will be responsible for servicing and repairing a range of forklifts. Your duties will include conducting routine maintenance, diagnosing and fixing mechanical and electrical issues, and ensuring that all trucks are running efficiently and safely. You will be covering Essex and surrounding areas, providing high-quality service both in the field and on-site.
This role would suit a Field Service Engineer with mechanical and electrical experience, from a forklift background, looking to join a well-established manufacturer offering specialist training, door-to-door pay, and the opportunity to increase earnings through regular overtime.
The Role
Maintain forklift trucks to ensure safe and efficient operation
Diagnose and repair faults on fleet and customer forklift trucks
Keep tools and equipment in a safe, clean, and serviceable condition
Build and maintain strong working relationships with customers
On call 1 in 4 weeks
40 hour work week
The Person
Background in repairing and maintaining forklift trucks or similar equipment
Mechanical and Electrical background
Comfortable travelling across Essex and surrounding areas
Full UK Driving Licence required
