Pay Rate: £27.83 per hour
Contract: Full-time
Location: Northampton (1 day per week in office Thursdays)
Travel: 45p per mile (travel allowance paid)

Overview
We are currently recruiting for an experienced and highly motivated Principal Lawyer to join a dynamic legal team based in Northampton. This is an excellent opportunity for a senior legal professional looking for a flexible, hybrid role with a strong balance of remote and office-based work.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-level legal advice and support across a broad range of matters
• Lead on complex casework and legal projects
• Manage and supervise junior legal staff where required
• Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and internal policies
• Represent the organisation in legal proceedings and negotiations
• Contribute to strategic decision-making and policy development

Requirements

• Qualified Solicitor or Chartered Executive
• Significant experience operating at a senior legal level
• Strong knowledge of relevant areas xwzovoh of law (public sector experience desirable)
• Proven ability to manage complex caseloads independently
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills

Working Arrangements

• Hybrid working model: 1 day per week in the Northampton office (Thursday)
• Remaining days remote
• Travel expenses paid at 45p per mile
