An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and ambitious Sous Chef to join the opening team of one of London's most anticipated new restaurant launches.
This all-day dining concept will celebrate some of Europe's most iconic and timeless dishes, offering guests a refined yet approachable dining experience from breakfast through to dinner. As part of the founding kitchen team, you will play a key role in shaping the culinary offering and establishing the standards that will define this exciting new venue.
The Role Working closely with the Head Chef, you will be the number two in the kitchen, helping to lead, develop and inspire a brigade of 12 chefs. This is a hands-on leadership position requiring strong organisational skills, excellent culinary knowledge and a passion for delivering exceptional food and service.
Key Responsibilities Support the Head Chef in the day-to-day management of the kitchen operation
Lead and motivate the kitchen brigade, ensuring high standards are consistently maintained
Oversee service across breakfast, lunch and dinner operations
Manage stock control, ordering, inventory and supplier relationships
Ensure food quality, presentation and consistency across all menu offerings
Maintain compliance with all food safety, hygiene and health & safety standards
Assist with staff training, development and recruitment
Help drive kitchen efficiency, cost control and operational excellence
About You Previous experience as a Sous Chef within a high-volume, quality-driven restaurant
Strong leadership and team management skills
Excellent knowledge of stock management, ordering and food cost control
