- London - 4 days a week in office, 1 day WFH
- Salary: Up to £50k + discretionary bonus
- My client is looking for an SAM ready to step up to AD level
We’re looking for an Account Director to become the strategic lead and trusted partner across a portfolio of ambitious, fast-growing brands.
This is a role for someone who thrives at the intersection of client leadership, campaign strategy, and commercial growth—someone who wants to shape work that genuinely drives results, not just manage delivery.
The Role:
You’ll be the person clients rely on most: their strategic advisor, day-to-day partner, and the one ensuring everything we deliver is high quality, effective, and commercially impactful. You’ll own your accounts end-to-end, from strategy through to execution, while playing a key role in new business growth.
What You’ll Be Responsible For:
Client Leadership & Retention
- Own senior client relationships (Marketing Director / CMO level)
- Lead structured comms: weekly, monthly and quarterly touchpoints
- Proactively manage risk and ensure long-term client satisfaction
- Embed yourself as a true extension of your clients’ teams
Campaign Strategy & Planning
- Translate business goals into clear, ambitious marketing strategies
- Bring a strong point of view—challenge, shape and elevate briefs
- Stay close to performance and confidently guide optimisation
Internal Team Leadership
- Write clear, inspiring briefs across creative, media and strategy
- Manage timelines, delivery and quality of output
- Act as the bridge between client ambition and internal execution
Commercial Growth
- Own account revenue and identify organic growth opportunities
- Lead renewal conversations and scope expansion
- Work towards clear retention and growth targets
New Business
- Contribute to pitches, strategy and presentations
- Help shape agency narrative, case studies and credentials xwzovoh
About You:
- 3–5 years’ agency experience (currently Senior Account Manager level)
- Strong client leadership skills with strategic credibility
- Commercially aware—you take ownership of account performance
- Confident communicator—comfortable presenting and challenging
- Passion for growth marketing, performance and creative
