Production Operative

Proactive Personnel are currently looking for Production Operatives to start work in Preston, PR2. Duties include: * Measure, grade and feed batches of raw materials into production machinery/process * Operate production line equipment such as conveyor line, hoists, airlines * Monitor the production process and carry out basic testing and quality checks * Adjust machine controls and monitor the production process and outputs * Manufacture goods on a production line * Carry out cleaning and basic maintenance of work areas and machinery * Report equipment faults to maintenance staff Requirements: * Previous Production/Manufacturing experience * Ability to work across multiple areas of the production process * Able to work as part of a team * Able to work on own initiative when necessary The hours of work are on a weekly rotating shfit pattern: Monday to Friday 06:00-14:00/14:00-22:00/22:00-06:00.
