You will play a key role in managing client relationships, providing tax planning advice and ensuring the timely delivery of compliance work.Key responsibilities will include:Managing a portfolio of corporate and personal tax clients.Reviewing and preparing corporate and personal tax returns.Advising clients on tax planning opportunities and business structuring matters.Supporting Directors and Partners with a range of advisory projects.Providing guidance on corporation tax, income tax, capital gains tax and inheritance tax matters.Acting as a trusted adviser to owner-managed businesses and entrepreneurial clients.Assisting with the development and mentoring of junior team members.Building and maintaining strong client relationships.The successful candidate will ideally have:ACA, ACCA and/or CTA qualification (or part qualified/QBE considered for the right individual).Experience working within an accountancy practice tax team.Strong corporate tax and/or personal tax experience.Exposure to both compliance and advisory work.Excellent communication and client-facing skills.Ability to manage deadlines and work independently.A proactive and commercial approach to client service.What's On Offer?Exposure to a broad range of tax advisory projects.Varied client portfolio across multiple sectors.Genuine career progression opportunities.Supportive and collaborative working environment.Hybrid and flexible working arrangements.Competitive salary and benefits package.Opportunity to work closely with partners and senior leadership.Why Join?This is an excellent opportunity for a Tax Manager or ambitious Tax Senior looking to broaden their advisory exposure within a growing independent practice where client relationships, technical development and career progression are genuinely valued. # - Georgina Bird
