Estimator - Wanted - Immediate Start! Leicester | £35-40K per year (DOE) Permanent, Full-Time Are you an experienced Estimator with a background in engineering, fabrication or metal manufacturing? Regional Recruitment are recruiting for an Estimator to join a well-established manufacturer of high-quality aluminium roofline products based in Leicester. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing business, working on a diverse range of bespoke aluminium fabrication projects whilst collaborating closely with Sales, Production and Engineering teams. What's on Offer: · Competitive salary of £35,000 - £40,000 (dependent on experience) · Permanent, full-time position · Opportunity to join an established and growing manufacturing business · Work on bespoke engineering and fabrication projects · Supportive team environment with long-term career prospects Qualifications Essential: · Previous estimating experience within engineering, fabrication, metal manufacturing or a similar industry · Ability to read and interpret engineering and technical drawings · Experience preparing quotations and cost estimates · Strong understanding of production, labour and material costing · Excellent communication and organisational skills · Minimum of 3 years' experience within an engineering or manufacturing environment Desirable: · Experience within aluminium fabrication or architectural metalwork · Experience producing material take-offs · Customer-facing technical support experience Roles & Responsibilities · Read and interpret engineering and technical drawings · Produce accurate material take-offs and quotations · Prepare detailed cost estimates across a varied product range · Manage the estimating process from initial sales enquiry through to quotation · Calculate labour, material and production costs · Liaise with Sales, Production and other internal departments to ensure accurate pricing and delivery times · Analyse estimating performance and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and processes · Provide technical support and product guidance to customers when required · Support the wider team with administration duties where necessary Requirements As an Estimator, you will also be expected to: · Be a proactive and motivated team player · Demonstrate excellent attention to detail and commercial awareness · Work effectively under pressure whilst managing multiple quotations · Build positive working relationships with colleagues and customers · Have a solutions-focused approach with a commitment to delivering accurate work About Regional Recruitment This position is being advertised by Regional Recruitment Ltd, an award-winning independent recruitment agency established in 2008.
