CLASS 2 DAYS - PALLET LINE WORK

HGV Class 2 Day Driver Location: Birmingham Pay rate: £16.50 per hour Start times: Between 4:00am and 6:00am Deliveries: Approximately 8–10 drops per shift The Recruitment Group is currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 2 Drivers for pallet-line delivery work based in Birmingham. This position involves completing approximately 8–10 palletised deliveries per day. It offers early-morning starts followed by steady daytime runs, making it well suited to a reliable driver who is comfortable completing scheduled multidrop work. Key responsibilities Completing approximately 8–10 palletised deliveries each day Delivering goods safely and within scheduled time slots Ensuring loads remain secure throughout the journey Carrying out vehicle checks before and after each shift Completing delivery paperwork and obtaining proof of delivery Communicating professionally with customers and the transport team Reporting delays, vehicle defects or delivery issues promptly Complying with drivers’ hours and Working Time regulations Maintaining a safe and professional standard of driving The ideal candidate You will need: A valid UK LGV/HGV Class 2 licence A valid Driver CPC qualification A valid Digital Tachograph Card Previous Class 2 driving experience Experience with multidrop or pallet-line deliveries A good understanding of drivers’ hours and tachograph regulations The ability to manage approximately 8–10 drops per day A reliable, organised and customer-focused approach Availability for early starts between 4:00am and 6:00am An acceptable driving record, subject to licence checks What the role offers £16.50 per hour Good, steady daytime runs Early starts with the working day beginning between 4:00am and 6:00am Approximately 8–10 drops per shift Pallet-line delivery work Birmingham-based position To apply, submit your CV or contact The Recruitment Group to discuss your experience and availability
