Logistics Support Analysis EngineerCompany:Boeing Defence United Kingdom LimitedBoeing Defence UK (BDUK) is looking for a Logistic Support Analysis (LSA) Engineer to support the new E-7 Programme based in Lossiemouth, United Kingdom.Boeing Defence UK operates an engineering matrix organisation consisting of engineering departments that deliver technical skills, expertise and products into our programmes. One of the Departments is the Product Support Engineering (ILS Engineering) which provides the product supportability infrastructure comprising the following technical areas:Logistic Support AnalysisReliability and MaintainabilityReliability Centred Maintenance AnalysisEngineering Data ExploitationObsolescence ManagementIntegrated Logistic Support EngineeringTechnical PublicationsAs a LSA engineer, you will call upon your experience to facilitate and implement LSA philosophies and techniques whilst remaining compliant with the appropriate regulatory standards. You will report to the BDUK Support Engineering Manager whilst being technically supported by the LSA Technical Lead and our other capability specialists within the department Responsibilities:Review of Technical Documentation to assist in the resolution of alternative solutions for long lead time spare ordersDevelop, manage and maintain LSAR in line with programme and customer requirementsWork in close conjunction with the Material & Demand Forecasting Team in resolving spares issues and codification supportProviding the initial response to Supply Chain for immediate Technical Queries related to the provision and use of parts on aircraftWork in close conjunction with the ILS Technical Publications Team to ensure correct changes are made to the Air-System Documentation Set,Support contingency planning and requirementsWork with the Product Support Technical Publications to ensure alignment of the Air-System Documentation Set with changes to the logistics support baselines, Basic Qualifications (Experience/Education/Skills):Experience of Logistics Support Analysis with the use of a LSARLogistic Support Analysis /Integrated Logistical Support related work experienceStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to read and interpret technical data and engineering drawingsEssential to be able to obtain UK SC security clearancePreferred Qualifications (Experience/Education/Skills):Ability to use the Air-System Document SetAn understanding of Support Engineering in Military environmentsPrevious practical experience of Aircraft maintenanceExperience of ERP systemsIdeally you will be educated to degree level in a relevant Engineering subjectProven ability to drive first time qualityExperience of working with international support standardsConflict of Interest:Successful candidates for this job must satisfy the Company's Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process.Benefits:The Boeing benefits package goes above and beyond, focusing on your physical, emotional, financial and social well-being.
