Industrial Gas Engineer

Industrial Gas Engineer Salary: £48k-£52k Location: Luton An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Industrial Gas Engineer to join a leading food manufacturing business, supporting the maintenance, installation, and development of industrial oven systems. Working within a fast-paced production environment, you will play a key role in ensuring equipment reliability, supporting new installations, and driving continuous improvement projects across the site. Key Responsibilities: * Carry out maintenance, fault-finding, and repair of industrial gas-fired equipment * Support the installation and commissioning of new oven systems * Ensure all work is completed in line with current gas safety regulations and industry standards * Identify opportunities to improve equipment performance and reliability * Assist with the development and enhancement of industrial oven systems * Work closely with engineering and production teams to minimise downtime and maximise efficiency Key Skills & Experience: * Proven experience working with industrial gas-fired equipment * Strong fault-finding, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills * Experience carrying out maintenance and installation activities within an industrial environment * Good understanding of gas safety regulations and compliance requirements * Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary engineering team * Experience working on industrial ovens, burners, or thermal processing equipment would be advantageous Qualifications: * Valid ACS Gas Qualifications including COCN1 (Core Commercial Gas Safety) * CENWAT, CPA1, or CORT certification * Current Gas Safe Registration If you're looking to join a well-established manufacturing business where you can apply your technical expertise while contributing to equipment improvement and site performance, then apply with a copy of your CV
