About the Role

We are seeking a caring, patient, and dedicated PMLD (Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties) Complex Needs Teaching Assistant to join a supportive educational setting in Peckham.

The successful candidate will provide one-to-one and small-group support to pupils with complex needs, helping them access learning, develop communication skills, and achieve their individual goals in a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide personalised support to pupils with PMLD and complex learning needs.
• Assist with learning activities tailored to individual Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).
• Support pupils with communication, sensory activities, emotional regulation, and personal development.
• Assist with personal care and moving and handling where required and appropriately trained.
• Promote pupils' independence, dignity, safety, and wellbeing.
