Each of the departments carries out world leading research in its own field, with three of our subject areas appearing in the top 10 in the QS World University Rankings.About the roleWe are seeking to appoint a Student Recruitment Marketing Manager to join the Faculty’s Student Recruitment team.
This is a key role supporting the recruitment of students to our taught programmes, providing flexible support across the Faculty’s undergraduate and postgraduate portfolio to deliver a high-quality experience for prospective and incoming students.As a Student Recruitment Marketing Manager, you will play a central role in developing and delivering marketing and communications activities that support the Faculty’s student recruitment objectives. You will work closely with colleagues across the Faculty, the wider ESE team, and Programme Directors to ensure a joined-up and effective approach to student recruitment and engagement.This is a varied and rewarding role, offering the opportunity to work across a broad range of activities. Responsibilities include creating and editing marketing and communications content for email campaigns, events and webpages; maintaining web content; and preparing routine communications for prospective students.
You will also plan and deliver a range of student recruitment events, including undergraduate and postgraduate open days, offer holder events, and virtual recruitment activities.This role is offered on a full-time basis, fixed term until 30 September 2027.About youThe successful candidate will be educated to A-level standard (or equivalent) and have experience of marketing within a higher education environment. They will have experience working in a fast-paced, service-focused setting, with the ability to learn and apply procedures accurately and work within established regulations.You will be a proactive and organised marketing professional with excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and confidence using Microsoft Office applications and databases.
