OT / SCADA Engineer (Industrial Networks) North East Scotland (hybrid role)

£63,000 + bonus (flexible for the right person)
Working on a role that sits much closer to industrial networks and OT communications than a traditional SCADA position.
The focus is on keeping critical OT network infrastructure running reliably across operational energy assets supporting SCADA systems rather than owning them, and working closely with vendors delivering comms and fibre networks offshore. If your background sits somewhere between networks, control systems and operational technology, this could be worth a look.
The Opportunity This role supports critical operational systems across offshore assets, helping ensure reliable communications, robust control infrastructure and secure, resilient performance.
Youll be involved in:
Managing and supporting industrial / OT communications networks
Working with contractors responsible for fibre and offshore comms systems
Supporting SCADA and control system infrastructure (OEM-led)
Ensuring reliability and performance across operational assets
Troubleshooting and improving network / systems performance
Supporting wider OT systems across a growing portfolio
There is also scope to support wider assets across a growing international portfolio, so there's progression and long-term development potential.
