Freelance Facades and Glazing Site Manager Tuesday 5th May Start Location: Central Stoke Contract Type: Freelance (4–6 weeks) Pay Type: £300 - £320 per day Umbrella only (NO CIS) Summary We are seeking an experienced Facades and Glazing Site Manager for a short-term freelance role to oversee the completion of an external façade project. The role involves managing the finishing of the building exterior, applying film to windows, and fitting vents and actuators. You will be responsible for driving subcontractors to ensure timely and quality delivery until project completion. The successful candidate must have relevant glazing and façade experience and be capable of maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and programme adherence. This position requires strong leadership and communication skills to effectively coordinate with subcontractors and the client, who is part of a Tier 1 group. Key Responsibilities Manage and supervise all site activities related to façade and glazing works. Ensure the application of window films and installation of vents and actuators are completed to specification. Drive subcontractor performance to meet project deadlines and quality standards. Maintain strict compliance with health and safety regulations and site policies. Liaise with client representatives and other stakeholders to provide progress updates and resolve issues. Monitor site progress and report any delays or risks promptly. Conduct site inductions, toolbox talks, and safety briefings as required. Skills Proven experience in façade and glazing site management Strong leadership and subcontractor management skills Ability to drive project completion under tight deadlines Excellent communication and stakeholder management Knowledge of façade systems, window film application, vents, and actuators Strong organisational and planning abilities Health and safety compliance awareness Problem-solving and decision-making skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Experience working with Tier 1 contractors Certifications & Standards CITB SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) – mandatory Valid CSCS card – mandatory First Aid certification – mandatory Please forward your CV and certificates to (url removed)
