An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Business Development Manager to join a growing and ambitious specialist property finance lender.

This is a senior, high-impact role focused on driving origination, relationship management, and market growth across London and the Home Counties. The successful candidate will play a key role in expanding the company's market presence, building strategic relationships, and delivering sustainable lending growth while maintaining a strong focus on credit quality and customer outcomes.

The Opportunity

We're seeking a commercially minded and well-connected professional with a proven track record within real estate lending, specialist property finance, or development finance . This role offers the chance to work closely with senior leadership, influence business development strategy, and contribute to the continued growth of an established and highly regarded lender.

Key Responsibilities

✔ Drive new business origination and relationship development across London and the Home Counties

✔ Build, manage, and grow a portfolio of clients, brokers, and introducers

✔ Develop strong relationships with borrowers, professional advisers, and key industry stakeholders

✔ Contribute to sales strategy and market positioning initiatives

✔ Identify market trends, opportunities, and competitive developments to support business growth

✔ Work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners to ensure efficient deal execution

✔ Support cross-functional business development initiatives and identify opportunities to broaden client relationships

✔ Maintain a disciplined approach to credit quality, risk management, and regulatory compliance

About You

✔ Proven business development and relationship management experience within real estate lending, specialist property finance, or a related sector

✔ Strong network of brokers, introducers, and industry contacts across London and the Home Counties

✔ Commercially astute with excellent relationship-building skills

✔ Strong understanding of lending structures, credit principles, and property finance markets

✔ Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities

✔ Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a wider team

✔ Degree educated in Finance, Banking, Real Estate, Economics, or a related discipline
