MULTI-SKILLED MAINTENANCE ENGINEER Location: Middlesbrough Salary: £42,(Apply online only) - £50,(Apply online only) (DOE) Shift: 4 on 3 off (Sunday cover required - Flexible Hours Between 06:00 - 19:00) Job Role of the Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer A well-established food manufacturing business is currently recruiting for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their site in Middlesbrough. The facility is modern, with relatively new machinery and a high-volume production output supplying into multiple sectors. The Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for reactive maintenance across production equipment, alongside small installations and general site maintenance. The role is not heavily PPM-driven, so requires a proactive engineer who is comfortable fault finding and responding quickly to breakdowns. You will be working across a range of semi-automated production lines and supporting equipment, ensuring minimal downtime and consistent performance across the site. Sector - Factory Maintenance Food manufacturing environment operating at high volume with semi-automated production lines and fast-paced processes. Non-Negotiable Requirements of the Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer Multi-Skilled Engineering Experience Engineering Qualification  Manufacturing background PLC understanding (inputs/outputs) Ability to read and understand electrical drawings Requirements of the Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer Strong electrical fault finding (3-phase, motors, sensors, inverters) Ability to wire and test motors Mechanical maintenance skills (bearings, belts, chains, pneumatics) Experience working on production machinery Ability to carry out reactive maintenance and small installations Comfortable supporting basic facilities work when required Desirable Requirements of the Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer Electrical bias Food / FMCG background 18th Edition The Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer will benefit from: Salary up to £50,(Apply online only) Modern manufacturing facility Canteen on site Company pension 28 days holiday If you are interested in this role and feel that you have the right skills, then please click apply at the bottom of this advert.
