Hgv Class 2 Driver

We are looking for a dependable and customer-focused Delivery Driver (Class 2) to join our team. This role involves multi-drop deliveries, ensuring goods are transported safely and efficiently while delivering excellent service to our customers. Roles & Responsibilities: * Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods to various locations, including multi-drop deliveries * Provide excellent customer service, greeting customers professionally and ensuring satisfaction * Load and unload products carefully and efficiently * Plan and follow the most efficient delivery routes * Maintain accurate delivery records * Conduct regular vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness * Assist with inventory management and report shortages or damages promptly * Occasional nights out required (hotel accommodation provided) * No weekend work required, with overtime opportunities available * Remain flexible to meet delivery schedules and operational needs The Ideal Candidate Will Have: * A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record * Proven experience in a delivery driver or similar role * Strong communication skills and a friendly, professional manner * Good time management and the ability to multitask * Familiarity with GPS systems and route navigation * Basic mechanical knowledge for minor vehicle checks * A positive attitude and commitment to excellent customer service Requirements: * Class 2 driving license * ADR (Solids) qualification is advantageous Benefits: * 23 days annual leave plus bank holidays (pro-rata) * Overnight accommodation provided when required * Overtime opportunities available at 1.25x * Yearly Bonus of £1500 (KPI based)
