Commissioning Engineer Mainly UK, some European Travel £50-55k + VAN, Overtime Lancashire. Ref: 24117 Commissioning Engineer- The Role: Commissioning and ensuring equipment operates to specification Conducting electrical checks, IO testing, calibration, and system validation Diagnosing faults, troubleshooting, and carrying out repairs Creating and executing test procedures Supporting installation activities across electrical and mechanical systems Liaising with contractors and internal engineering teams during projects Providing technical support to customers and internal stakeholders Training client staff on operation and maintenance where required Producing daily site reports and progress logs Identifying risks/issues early and proposing solutions Supporting continuous improvement of operational procedures Carrying out routine servicing and calibration visits globally Working to tight deadlines in fast-paced project environments Commissioning Engineer- The Person: Strong technical background in electrical, mechanical, or control systems Experience in commissioning, testing, or field service engineering Excellent fault-finding and troubleshooting skills Good understanding of industrial systems (electrical, sensors, pneumatics) Strong communication and interpersonal skills Customer-focused with a professional approach Able to manage workload and prioritise effectively under pressure Proactive, self-motivated and solution-oriented Strong teamwork and collaboration skills Good IT and analytical capabilities Commercial awareness Willingness to travel and work on customer sites (UK & international) Flexible to work shifts and unsociable hours when required Benefits: Flexible working hours.
