Linux Systems Administrator /Junior DevOps / Infrastructure Engineer - Linux, Python, Bash

Description for the Linux Systems Administrator / Junior DevOps / Infrastructure Engineer role:- Fantastic opportunity to join a fast growing Software house based in central Reading as a Junior DevOps Engineer. You will be will given the chance to work in a fun, passionate software engineering team in a role which will give you the opportunity to grow your engineering skills. Candidates require enthusiasm for Open Source software and hardware with experience in Linux. You might have an academic background in Computing, Applied Sciences, Mathematics, or related subjects, or just have grown up as a Linux hobbyist with examples of your work.

The role will be hybrid, 3 days in the office in central Reading per week.

Core skills/experience for the Linux Systems Administrator / Junior DevOps / Infrastructure Engineer role:

• Solid knowledge with Linux either commercial or from home learning.
• Likely to have some programming or scripting experience
• Interest in a career in DevOps
• Live in or close to Reading, Berkshire

Salary for the Linux Systems Administrator / Junior DevOps / Infrastructure Engineer role will depend on experience, but expect between £35,000 and £45,000 + pension, socials, regular salary reviews, 25 days hols raising to 28 days after your 1st year and a lot more! xwzovoh
